Caitlin Clark’s greatness has captured the attention of basketball fans everywhere during her electric run at Iowa.
Clark led Iowa to a national title game appearance in 2023, but the Hawkeyes lost to LSU. This year, Iowa knocked off the Lady Tigers in the Elite Eight of the 2024 NCAA Tournament to continue their run at a national title.
Many witnessed Clark’s 41-point double-double, and it’s expected to be one of the highest-rated women’s basketball games in the sport’s history.
But there were also plenty of fans on hand for the event in Albany. That included comedian Jason Sudeikis, best known for his titular role in the series “Ted Lasso.”
Sudeikis cheered on Iowa rabidly as the team exacted revenge on LSU. He broke out John Cena’s “you can’t see me!” celebration late in the victory to pay homage to what Clark did against Louisville in last year’s Elite Eight. Angel Reese later mimicked that gesture in last season’s NCAA title game.
