The main draw of the Brisbane International will see Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina as the number 1 and 2 seeds respectively. Lin Zhu, Daria Kasatkina, Jelena Ostapenko and Victoria Azarenka will try to undermine the former WTA No.1 on the road to the final.
Naomi Osaka will return to the field in Brisbane after almost a year and a half. The four-time Slam champion will also be in the upper part of the main draw and will challenge Tamara Korpatsch on her debut with the hope of giving herself a match with Karolina Pliskova.

The combined event instead presents great expectations in the men’s singles, with Rafael Nadal’s as back.
