For months on end, wrestling fans have been teased to no end with the possibility of Tiffany Stratton cashing in her opportunity. Winner of the women’s Money in the Bank briefcase over the summer, Stratton has owned the contract to demand an immediate opportunity for any championship she wants, and it’s been a running storyline for almost exactly six months.
Stratton has had opportunity after opportunity to cash in on not just faction leader Nia Jax on Friday Night SmackDown episodes, but also on PLEs. In fact, she’s had opportunities to switch brands and cash in on WWE Women’s champion Liv Morgan on Monday Night Raw as well. There’s been ample chance, especially with the wedge that’s been planted between them with the addition of Candace LaRae to the faction, as she’s become the favorite sidekick of the Women’s Undisputed champ.
Things came to a head in last week’s episode, where Stratton finally voiced her disgust at not owning any gold, and the perfect spot occurred this week as SmackDown moved to a three-hour format.
