The Fever have been without star guard Caitlin Clark for each of the past four games. The side has been solid, if unspectacular without its talisman, posting a 2-2 record across the fixtures.
Still, Indiana is desperate for its signal-caller to return to the fore. There was hope that Clark, felled by a quad issue, could be on the cusp of a return in the coming few days. However, that assessment might’ve been a tad premature.

Is Caitlin Clark playing tonight vs. Dream?
Clark will not play against Atlanta, head coach Stephanie White revealed to reporters on Monday.
The Fever star has been sidelined each of the past two weeks after sustaining a quadriceps injury. She underwent re-evaluation on her malady this weekend and has participated in specific practice drills. Still, White stopped short of saying Clark was cleared to return to basketball activities.
“We’re ready to start ramping back up,” White said of Clark. “She’s been allowed to do some practicing, not everything, and we’re gonna be smart, we’re gonna be cautious.”
