This year’s Women’s Final Four is overflowing with All-America talent. But few players have exceeded the heights of Iowa guard Caitlin Clark and South Carolina center Aliyah Boston.
They’re two of the best players in college hoops, otherworldly talents capable of lifting their teams to the promised land.
Only one can reach the national championship, though.

The Gamecocks have the pedigree; they’re sporting a spotless 36-0 record and they won the national title last year. In Dawn Staley, they have one of the game’s greatest tacticians. She will look to weaken the Hawkeyes’ scoring punch.

Much of that punch stems from Clark, who recorded a historic 41-point triple-double to push Iowa to the brink of a national title. And although she has her work cut out for her, so, too, does South Carolina. It hasn’t faced a player of this caliber in some time, if ever.
