They don’t get much bigger than this.

This year’s Elite Eight features a litany of big names. None are bigger than Iowa’s Caitlin Clark and LSU’s Angel Reese. The two have been cast as perfect foils ever since rocketing themselves into the national consciousness.

Last season, the pair faced off on the biggest stage of them all, jostling back-and-forth under the glimmer of the national championship trophy. Reese emerged victorious in that game, but Clark will get her chance to avenge Iowa’s loss Monday night.

This year isn’t entirely identical. But the clash between the Hawkeyes and Tigers will undoubtedly captivate the masses, even if it is only for a spot in the Final Four.

Clark has been seismic as ever, dropping 27, 32 and 29 points in the past three rounds to take Iowa to higher planes.

She’s not alone, though. Hannah Stuelke has been a force in the pick-and-roll, forming quite the battery with Clark.
