British running shoe brand inov-8 is bringing the worlds of hiking and trail running together with the launch of a new waterproof trail shoe for winter running. The hike-run hybrid shoe comes as an addition to the brand’s ROCLITE franchise range. The pioneering sports brand say their new ROCLITE G 315 GTX V2 is designed for both hiking and running as well as adventure sports. inov-8, who are based in the English Lake District, officially launched the shoe in November 2022.
The new hybrid shoe features a sticky rubber outsole enhanced with Graphene – the world’s strongest material – for longer-lasting tough grip. It also features GORE-TEX waterproofing to keep feet dry and comfortable.
An evolution of the popular ROCLITE G 315 GTX, the newest version boasts a flexible rock plate and toe-bumper for extra protection. It also features an improved secure fit, stronger upper materials for greater durability, and a more cushioned midsole foam with added bounce.
