Team Poland is soaking up the Aussie summer vibes in Sydney! Before diving into the intense action of the 2024 United Cup, Iga Swiatek and her teammates Alicja Rosolska, Maja Chwalinska and Hubert Hurkacz took a well-deserved break to visit one of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks—Wylie’s Baths.

With breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Wylie’s Baths offered the perfect escape from the bustling tournament atmosphere. The players enjoyed a refreshing swim, taking time to recharge and relax under the warm Australian sun on Sunday.

The competition is already heating up! On Day 3, the Czech Republic kicked off their United Cup campaign with a strong win against Norway. Karolina Muchova, a former world No.8, delivered a commanding performance in singles, defeating Malene Helgø 6-2 6-2. Muchova later teamed up with Tomas Machac to secure a thrilling 2-1 victory for the Czechs by winning the deciding mixed doubles 6-4 6-4 over Ulrikke Eikeri and Viktor Durasovic.
