Emma Raducanu jokingly declared herself “the biggest grandma” while hilariously explaining why she was definitely not a party girl type. During a conversation with AirWays, Raducanu was asked if she was a party girl. “No, I’m the complete opposite.

Literally, I’m the biggest grandma. It’s unbelievable, Like, I’d rather just stay in. Like, why would you, like, put that much into effort…”

Raducanu was then interrupted by someone who remarked: “When you can study a math book?” Raducanu laughed and said: “Yeah, exactly.”

Raducanu last competed at the Miami Open

After reaching the Indian Wells round-of-16, Raducanu was hoping for a positive campaign at the Miami Open but she was hampered by a wrist injury and didn’t make it too far.

In what was a first-round matchup between two US Open champions, Raducanu suffered a three-set defeat against Bianca Andreescu. After the match, Raducanu said she would need to address her ongoing wrist injury. “It’s something I’ve been managing for some time.

I just need to review after this tournament really and figure out what my next steps are. We have been managing it, keeping on top of it. I’m able to play in the short-term. But the current solutions aren’t very viable long-term,” Raducanu said after her Miami exit.
