World No 1 Iga Swiatek is thrilled to be back in Indian Wells as she absolutely loves the vibe and atmosphere in the desert. Swiatek, 21, captured her first Indian Wells title after beating Maria Sakkari in last year’s final at the tournament.
Ahead of her Indian Wells title defense, Swiatek shared a message. “Peaceful mornings, a lot of work done every single day, beautiful landscape. So, so good to be back in tennis paradise! Hi, BNP Paribas Open,” Swiatek tweeted.

Swiatek is the defending champion at the Sunshine Double
Last year, Swiatek absolutely dominated the Sunshine Double as she made it all the way in Indian Wells and Miami.
