Iga Swiatek admits Wimbledon is “a different challenge” as she is still trying to find a way “to figure out grass.” Swiatek, 22, lifted her fourth Grand Slam title just before the start of the grass season. After successfully defending her French Open title, Swiatek will also try to make her first big Wimbledon result this summer.
After suffering a Wimbledon first-round defeat in her debut in 2019, Swiatek made the round-of-16 at The Championships in 2021. Last year, Swiatek’s run of 37 consecutive wins came to an end following a shock Wimbledon third-round defeat to Alize Cornet.

“Grass-court season is something I haven’t figured out yet. So Wimbledon is always a different challenge to any of the other Slams. But I would say winning Slams, it gives you kind of confidence that you can do it again on one hand, but on the other hand, everybody is watching you, everyone is targeting your back so you feel that a little bit and the pressure is bigger.
