World No 1 Iga Swiatek congratulated Marketa Vondrousova on winning her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon. Vondrousova, 24, upset sixth-ranked Ons Jabeur 6-4 6-4 in the Wimbledon final. Vondrousova, the 2019 French Open runner-up, had a few rough years as she had two surgeries on her wrist in recent years.

Swiatek congratulates Vondrousova
Swiatek, a four-time Grand Slam champion, looked good at the start of Wimbledon and it looked like the Pole could win her first Wimbledon title this year.
