Iga Swiatek is not concerned about not completely figuring out grass yet as the 22-year-old Pole believes she will eventually learn how to play better on the trickiest tennis surface. Swiatek, a four-time Grand Slam champion, has 15 titles in her collection but she has yet to win a grass title.
Swiatek, who won her first Grand Slam title on the clay courts of Roland Garros in 2020, also figured out how to play on hard last year and won the 2022 US Open. Now, the grass is the only surface that Swiatek hasn’t yet fully figured out.
“I need a couple of more years to learn how to play on grass better […] I’m 22 so I still have a lot of time, probably more than 10 years. I am doing my best to win every tournament I play. I am not rushing it,” Swiatek said, via Relevant Tennis.
