Iga Swiatek, 22, hits absolutely wild stat in epic Wimbledon win over Belinda Bencic

Iga Swiatek, 22, played her first-ever match that featured two tie-breaks against Belinda Bencic at Wimbledon, it was revealed during the BBC commentary. Swiatek, seeded at No 1, saved two match points en route to beating Bencic 6-7 (4) 7-6 (2) 6-3 in the Wimbledon round-of-16.

Swiatek, who has established herself as the best player in the women’s game for quite some time, has gotten well-known for her ruthless way of crushing opponents. Usually, there is no much drama in Swiatek’s matches. But Bencic made Swiatek work extremely hard and the Pole had just her first match that featured two tie-breaks.
