‘I have lived the best days of my life’

Iga Swiatek proved once again to be the strongest of all in Paris and triumphed at Roland Garros for the fourth time – the third consecutive – beating Jasmine Paolini in the final. The Italian can still be proud of the continuous steps forward made in recent months and the level expressed throughout the tournament.

From next Monday she will be the new number seven in the WTA ranking: an incredible achievement that will allow her to look to the future with optimism and believe in herself more and more.

“Hello everyone. Thank you for coming. I enjoyed playing on this court today. Iga, congratulations. Playing against you is the most complicated challenge in tennis right now.

Congratulations also to your team, you are doing an incredible job. I also thank my team, my family and all the people who are in my box. You always believe in me and I want to say thank you. I am living the best days of my life, but it is not over yet because tomorrow I have the final in the doubles tournament with Sara Errani.
