Coco Gauff conceded only two games to Jelena Ostapenko, (tennis player capable of eliminating the defending champion Iga Swiatek in the previous round), and she qualified for the semifinals finishing with a score of 6-0 6-2.At the press conference, the Latvian tennis player said she was very disappointed with the result, accusing the organizers of a schedule that, in her opinion, disadvantaged her, while also diminishing the strength of her opponent.On the improvements of her opponent, Ostapenko replied: “Honestly there were so many games where I had chances and lost some really easy points, and I think my concentration was not there compared to the games I played.

I think she was very nervous today. I honestly expected more from her today. It seemed to me that she was under some pressure, because obviously playing at home is not easy, as I have already experienced myself. I think she maybe changed her tactics a little bit.
