“I can’t wait for retirement day”

Andy Murray suffered a serious injury at the end of the 3rd round match of the Miami Open against Thomas Machac, which could put an early end to his glorious career.

The Scot has repeatedly declared that this will be his last season. The end of a beautiful journey that led him to break several records and win numerous titles, including 3 Slams and two Olympic gold medals. The former ATP No.1 could thus have played the last match of his professional career in Florida.

The end, however, is not far away. Everyone hopes to see him play at least one last time at Wimbledon, but everything will depend on how the Scotsman reacts and recovers from the serious injury suffered in Miami.

“I can’t wait for the end now, I’ll give it my all in the next few months and then I’ll go home to my family,” he told.
