Cori Gauff reveals she often tells people that her life is boring as there are days when she does not leave her room. Gauff, who turned 19 this Monday, has been on the Tour for several years now as she started making notable results when she was just 15.
But being completely dedicated and committed to tennis also has a negative side to it as it is seemingly negatively impacting Gauff’s social life. After beating Linda Noskova in the Indian Wells third round, Gauff was asked to reflect on her life.
“I’m for sure living my dream. I guess the on-court part is glamorous in a way, yes. Off-court, I always tell people my life is boring. That’s part of the reason why I’ve never done any, I guess, filming or any of that, like behind-the-scenes stuff.
I literally just don’t leave my room sometimes. I guess online and that persona, yeah, I’m living the dream, but I guess that’s my dream,” Gauff said, per Tennis365.
