The roster for the Hulk Hogan-led Real American Freestyle wrestling now has five women on it, including Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hildebrandt. Hildebrandt and three others joined previously signed Kennedy Blades, who qualified for the 2025 U.S. Senior team at Final X.
Hildebrandt made her name by becoming just the fourth American woman to capture gold when she did so in Paris, France last summer. Joining her are Olympic silver medalist Lucia Yepez Guzman, Audrey Jimenez and Zeltin Hernandez Guerra.
Hogan, the former pro wrestling legend who founded the RAF with Eric Bischoff and Izzy Martinez, said in a statement, “Real American Freestyle was created to trailblaze, and these incredible women joining our roster are a critical part of that.”
The first event for the promotion is scheduled for August 30 from Cleveland, Ohio. Other planned cards include one in September in Michigan and another in October from New Jersey.
Events are expected to feature men’s matches in eight weight classes and women’s in four.
