Just a few days after the Blues defeated the Blackhawks in the Winter Classic at Wrigley Field, college hockey will take the ice in the historic MLB stadium.
There will be three Big Ten men’s hockey matchups to go along with one Western Collegiate Hockey Association women’s game. Schools involved are Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Michigan State.
Ohio State and Wisconsin will have both their men’s and women’s teams playing in the Frozen Confines series. The Buckeyes and Badgers women’s teams have combined to win each NCAA championship since 2019.
