One of college’s greatest rivalries will hit the lacrosse field on Thursday. UNC women’s lacrosse will face Duke in a ranked matchup this week.
North Carolina remains undefeated at 14-0 and is the top-ranked team in the country. The Tar Heels will visit Duke for their season finale to potentially finish the regular season without a loss.
Duke, on the other hand, is 12-3 with losses to Virginia, Boston College and Johns Hopkins. This will also be the team’s final game of the season before the postseason begins. The Blue Devils enter on a six-game win streak.
Since this is the final home game of the year for UNC, it is also Senior Day. The seniors will be honored at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.
