Marking a new year of competition, the TYR Pro Swim Series is back for 2025 and kicking things off in Westmont, Illinois, this week.
The TYR Pro Swim Series consistently features the world’s best swimmers, and this year will be no different. High school talents, national team hopefuls and even Olympians will take the water across three different meets this season.
Amongst the many notable athletes expected to compete are Olympians Summer McIntosh, Kate Douglass and Regan Smith on the women’s side, and Hunter Armstrong and Shane Casas’ on the men’s.
This week’s Chicago-area competition will be the first of four meets in the series, culminating in the championships at Irvine, California later this year.
