All eyes are on Texas as the defending champion looks to repeat after a 28-4 season. The Longhorns are in their debut season in the SEC, and seniors Madisen Skinner and Keonilei Akana will hope to get another title in their storied college careers.
They’ll face a Minnesota team that is without former Big Ten Player of the Year Taylor Landfair after she transferred to Nebraska. But the Gophers return outside hitter McKenna Wucherer as one of the biggest offensive threats and senior setter Melani Shaffmaster. The Golden Gophers finished 2023 with a 17-13 record and will look to try and play spoiler in a loaded Big Ten Conference.
