It’ll be an all-ACC affair in Louisville, KY as No. 4 Notre Dame take on No. 14 Clemson in the 2023 NCAA national championship game.
The ACC has been the most dominant conference in the nation over the past few seasons, and now the league is guaranteed a third straight national title.
Clemson have turned a corner and ridden a dominant second half of the season, and will play for their fourth national title, including a second in three years after winning the 2021 championship. The Tigers dropped points against UCF, UNC Wilmington, Notre Dame, and Wake Forest through September, but since have gone 13 straight unbeaten, including their triumph in the ACC tournament.
Notre Dame, meanwhile, have proven one of the most talented teams in the country, with their only notable slip this season coming in the ACC tournament when they fell in the quarterfinals to Louisville. They can right that wrong with victory here, having conceded just one goal through four NCAA tournament games.
