It is time for Final X, as the 2025 amateur wrestling extravaganza takes place this Saturday.
The event will be held inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, streaming live on FloWrestling and the FloSports App.
Matches to be contested at Final X will determine the 2025 U.S. World Team in two international disciplines – men’s freestyle and women’s freestyle. The top two U.S. athletes will compete in a best-of-three series to determine who represents the United States at the 2025 Senior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.
Among those set for action include reigning NCAA Div. I heavyweight champion Wyatt Hendrickson, who shocked Gable Steveson in the finals, Kyle Snyder, Spencer Lee and Kyle Dake.
On the women’s side, Kennedy Blades, Amit Elor and Helen Maroulis are competing in qualifying matches.
There will be two mats used, with the men on one and the women on the other. True-third matches will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET with the opening round of the best-of-three starting at 2 p.m. ET. Beginning at 5 p.m. ET will be second round matches and third round as needed.
