The Paris Olympic Opening Ceremony is Friday, July 26, and a number of gymnasts affiliated with college teams will be donning their nations’ kits and marching with their countries—on the Seine or in spirit. Gymnastics in Paris kicks off with men’s subdivision 1 on July 27 (women’s competition begins July 28), and concludes with the third day of event finals on August 5.
