The Indiana Fever are heading back home after a three-game road trip to battle the Atlanta Dream on Thursday night.
The Fever are coming off an 89-72 loss to the Connecticut Sun in which Caitlin Clark and the other starters spent much of the second half on the bench after the Sun built up an insurmountable lead. Clark still leads the Fever with 16.3 points, 6.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
The Dream, who lost their last game to the previously winless Mystics, are led by Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, who was recently named to the U.S. Olympic 3×3 women’s basketball roster. After not playing during the 2023 WNBA season, Tina Charles signed with the Dream and is having a productive campaign, averaging 12.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.
