Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will search for their first win of the young season when they host the Connecticut Sun on Monday night.
The Fever (0-3) have struggled out of the gate, losing all three games by double-digits. Three games into her highly anticipated WNBA career, No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark is averaging 17 points, 5.7 assists and 7 turnovers per game. The former Iowa standout notched career-highs in points (22) and assists (eight) in Saturday’s 91-80 loss to the Liberty.
Clark will be on the hunt for revenge against the Sun on Monday. In her WNBA debut, Clark committed ten turnovers and shot just 33 percent from the field against the Sun last Tuesday.
Connecticut (2-0) brings its undefeated record into Monday’s showdown. Veteran forward DeWanna Bonner (21 points per game) and fourth-year guard DiJonai Carrington (18.5) are off to strong starts.
