How to watch Angel Reese’s first WNBA game: TV channel, live stream, time for Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings

Date:

Former LSU standout Angel Reese is set for her highly anticipated WNBA debut Wednesday night, when Reese and the Chicago Sky take on the Dallas Wings in their season opener.

Reese, the seventh overall pick by the Sky in April’s WNBA Draft, played well in two preseason games. She averaged 13 points and seven rebounds in 22 minutes per contest.

At 6-foot-3, Reese dominated in her last two collegiate seasons at LSU. She marshaled the Tigers to the 2023 NCAA title as a junior, earning unanimous first-team All-America honors 23 points and 15.4 rebounds per game. As a senior, Reese poured in 18.6 points and 13.4 rebounds per game in another tremendous season.

Reese’s WNBA debut will not occur alongside fellow rookie Kamilla Cardoso. The 6-foot-7 Cardoso, the No. 3 overall pick in April’s draft out of South Carolina, will be sidelined four-to-six weeks with a shoulder injury that she suffered in Friday’s preseason game.

The Wings, fresh off a postseason appearance in 2023, are led by Arike Owgunbowale, who averaged 21.2 points per game a season ago.

Here is everything that you need to know about tuning into Reese’s first official WNBA game on Wednesday night.
