After the longest absence of her basketball career, Caitlin Clark is back in the Indiana Fever lineup — and her return could not have come at a better time.
Clark missed each of Indiana’s past five games, and the team posted a 2-3 record in her absence. Three weeks after her last outing, Clark is back in action as the undefeated New York Liberty come to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a Commissioner’s Cup matchup.
Interestingly enough, Clark’s last time on the court was against the defending champs, when she finished with 18 points, five rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 turnovers in a narrow two-point loss.
