LSU won its first women’s tournament championship in program history with a 102-85 victory against Iowa

The title marks Mulkey’s fourth as a coach, but she’ll be remembered as much for accelerating LSU to earning a trophy in just her second year in Baton Rouge. Jasmine Carson led the way with 22 points, with 21 of those coming in the first half. Angel Reese finished with 15 points and 10 points. Caitlin Clark led Iowa with 30 points, but the Hawkeyes’ foul trouble and inability to stop LSU’s array of scorers had them fall short.
