Top-seed South Carolina looks to cap off its undefeated regular season and SEC tournament title with a national championship, but fellow No. 1 seeds Iowa, Stanford and Texas highlight a list of other contenders aiming to claim the sport’s most prestigious trophy. I have the Huskies in the Elite Eight, but in order to get there, a lot of 50/50 balls are going to need to fall in their favor. UConn is working with a short rotation, and that’s not usually the recipe for a deep run. The Huskies having the fifth-best odds of all teams is … interesting.

The Fighting Irish have another season-ending injury to a starter (Kylee Watson, ACL) just before March Madness. The Fighting Irish had an incredible run through the ACC tournament, but they’ve had terrible injury luck this year.
