World No 1 Iga Swiatek has learned her projected path to winning it all in front of her home fans at the Warsaw Open. In Warsaw, No 1 seed Swiatek will be kicking off her campaign by playing against world No 181 Nigina Abduraimova.
In the Warsaw round-of-16, Swiatek is projected to meet Claire Liu, the American she has already crushed twice this year. The Warsaw quarterfinal is projected to be Swiatek’s first match against a seeded player as the Pole could very easily meet No 8 seed Linda Noskova.
In the semifinal, Swiatek is projected to meet third-seeded Katerina Siniakova. The Warsaw final is projected to be a rematch of this year’s French Open final between Swiatek and No 2 seed Karolina Muchova.
