Not all tennis players have the great opportunity to even train with the CEO of a major tournament like the BNP Paribas Open. The honor was probably mutual, as the CEO of the ATP Masters 1000 of Indian Wells Tommy Haas trained a few days ago with the winner of the Australian Open 2024 Jannik Sinner.
Haas spent truly splendid money on the young Italian, on the eve of the Sinners’ 2nd round win against Thanasi Kokkinakis.
“Sinner’s confidence is due to the number of matches and tournaments he has won. At the moment he is the favorite here,” said Haas, placing Sinner as favorite to win Indian Wells ahead of his three main rivals, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev.

“He is undoubtedly the fittest player since the end of last season. I was lucky to be able to train with him a few days ago and it was fantastic for me to be able to dribble with the best tennis player on the circuit and see how he hits the ball. For me it was a spectacular workout,” he explained.
