Up next: Harrison Burton, who is in his second Cup Series season driving for Wood Brothers Racing and is expected to return in 2024. This interview has been edited and condensed for clarity, but the full version is available on the 12 Questions podcast.
1. You must pick one chore or obligation to do every day for a year. But if you do it every day, you never have to do it again for the rest of your life. What would you like to check off?
I’m checking off taking out the trash. It’s not a lot of work, and you don’t have to suffer that much throughout the year, but then the payoff is nice because you never take the trash out again.
2. Can you describe how you are as a passenger in a street car?

What was the reaction?
Everyone was excited. You have a bunch of race car drivers who were like, “Do it again!” But I was more nervous than the other guys.
