Ciao, Milano! The Fall 2025 season of Milan Fashion Week is officially a-go, with Gucci opening up the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s schedule earlier today. You might not need reminding that Sabato De Sarno abruptly exited his post as Gucci creative director only a few weeks ago. Today’s showcase marked the first post-De Sarno’s exit. The show must go on, however, with the in-house design team called upon to craft the Fall 2025 Gucci collection. To kick-start MFW in style, the Gucci studio unveiled a collection full of Mod details and 60s silhouettes – and nods to the Alessandro Michele and Tom Ford era. In an homage to the Italian fashion house’s founder Guccio Gucci, the collection ultimately serves as a placeholder until the powers that be at Kering HQ appoint a new creative director. Stay tuned.
