Grigor Dimitrov pulled off a move that resembled one Serena Williams made several years ago as the Bulgarian was looking to get some mid-match coffee while his Monte Carlo Masters was getting suspended.
On Wednesday, world No. 9 Dimitrov started his Monte Carlo second-round match against Miomir Kecmanovic. With Dimitrov up by a set and the second set being in its early stages, rain started falling in the Principality.
While Dimitrov and Kecmanovic briefly sat on their chair hoping the rain would go away, it didn’t happen. While on the bench, Dimitrov revealed he was craving a coffee.
“I’ll settle for a coffee right now,” Dimitrov was heard saying while sitting at his chair as the match was getting suspended.

After losing the opener, Williams asked the chair umpire if she could get some espresso….
