Greg Rusedski seemingly enjoyed very much the Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek final in Madrid as the British tennis legend is looking forward to seeing more big matches between the two currently top-ranked WTA players. Sabalenka, 25, defeated 21-year-old Swiatek 6-3 3-6 6-3 to win her second Madrid title.
Clay is Swiatek’s favorite surface, while Sabalenka prefers faster surfaces. Still, Sabalenka figured out a way to beat Swiatek in the final of a clay WTA 1000 tournament. Last year, Swiatek pretty much dominated every head-to-head.
