On Thursday, NJ/NY Gotham FC announced that the club has traded midfielder Victoria Pickett to the North Carolina Courage in exchange for $200,000 in allocation money. The move comes just four months after the Canadian midfielder signed a three-year deal with the club.

I’m forever appreciative of them and lucky to have learned from these special players,” said Pickett. “I also want to thank Yael Averbuch West, the coaching staff, the medical team, and the entire soccer operations team for supporting me in my playing career and for the way this move was handled by the club.
