Gotham FC are surging to start the season, and fans are buying in.
The New Jersey-based club is on track to break its attendance record in its next home game, with more than 10,000 tickets already sold for the June 4 contest against the San Diego Wave at Red Bull Arena. The ticket sales total is also a single-game record for the club.
At the end of last season, Gotham sat at the bottom of the league table with just 13 points and a 4-1-17 record. In the 2023 season, boosted by a new coach in Juan Carlos Amorós and several key offseason pickups, the team already has surpassed its points total and its wins total from 2022.
