When LPGA Tour superstar Suzann Pettersen holed the winning putt for Team Europe in the 2019 Solheim Cup she knew that nothing would ever better that moment in her career. So she hung up her playing spikes to focus on her young family. Keeping firmly in-touch with her friends on the Ladies European Tour led to her obvious selection as Solheim Cup captain, but little did she know that it would become a full-time job for three years as she took on back-to-back captaincies for the team.
In that role she discovered a passion for helping to mentor the players and it has led her to launch her own talent management agency, alongside 54 sports marketing.
The Sporting News spoke exclusively to the Norwegian about her aspirations for her new agency VOXA.
Q. What made you decide to launch VOXA?
“This is a world that I have been living and breathing for literally my whole life. I have learned the pros and cons along the way and I have always had this dream of making an even bigger impact.
