Basics
One of the least-expensive, (almost) fully functional AMOLED touchscreen smartwatches available, the Garmin Forerunner 165 has respectable battery life, a wide range of features, but for multisport athletes, strangely missing triathlon and multisport activity profiles.
Pros
- Great 800-nit max, 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen
- Surprisingly budget-friendly price
- Open-water swimming activity
- Onboard running with power
- Light weight and small footprint
- Physio features like sleep tracking, HRV tracking, and pulse oximeter
- Onboard music storage (including Spotify) for an extra $50
Cons
- Does not include triathlon and multisport activity profiles
- Low-ish battery life, but not unreasonable for an AMOLED touchscreen at this price
Weight
40g
Price
$250
