Game, Set, Style: The Adidas French Open Collection for Roland Garros

Date:

Today I am thrilled to talk to you about the new Adidas French Open Collection. As we gear up for the clay season and the highly-anticipated Roland Garros tournament, Adidas has released a collection that perfectly captures the essence of the event.

When it comes to style trends at the French Open, we always see a mix of classic and modern looks. Players often incorporate stripes, polka dots, and floral patterns into their outfits, giving a nod to the tournament’s rich history while also adding their own personal flair.

Adidas French Open Roland Garros

This year, the Adidas French Open Collection features deep warm shades that echo the hues of the clay court, from earthy browns to burnt oranges. One of the most anticipated pieces from this collection, the pleated Adidas Tennis dress pictured above, is the perfect example of these colours at play! These colours not only look stunning on the court but also provide a sense of connection to the tournament’s surroundings.

This isn’t the first time Adidas has opted for rusty deep orange tones. Their 2018 Roland Garros Collection featured similar shades, showing that the history of these shades runs deep in Roland Garros clay court fashion!

Despite remaining consistent in the colourway, this collection looks and feels modern and fresh! The first picture shows the Adidas Paris Match Skirt, which is paired with the Paris Tennis Y Tank in black. In the second photo, my favourite piece, the Paris Tennis Match Skirt Tight in red. Here, it is paired with the Paris Tennis Y tank in carbon! The Paris Tennis Match Skirt Tight is sold as a set, which includes the tights and the removable mesh overskirt. Lastly, the Paris Tennis Match Skirt Tight in pink, which is paired with the Paris Tennis Crop Long Sleeve.

Adidas Athletes

As for the athletes representing Adidas, there are a few names that immediately come to mind. Maria Sakkari has been making waves in the tennis world with her fierce playing style and equally fierce fashion sense. She often rocks bold colours and daring designs, making her a standout on the court.

Kristina Mladenovic is another Adidas athlete to watch out for. The French player has a classic yet edgy style that perfectly captures the spirit of the French Open. Her looks often incorporate black and white elements, as well as unexpected details like mesh and cutouts.

Last but certainly not least, we have Angelique Kerber. The German player is known for her powerful game, but she also has a keen eye for fashion. Her Adidas outfits often feature pops of colour and playful patterns, making her a fan favourite both on and off the court.

Overall, I am absolutely loving the new Adidas French Open Collection. The warm shades and classic designs perfectly capture the spirit of the tournament! I cannot wait to see these outfits in action at Roland Garros and cheer on all the talented players representing Adidas. So, get ready to see some incredible tennis and stunning fashion, because the French Open is just around the corner!
