Free-agent guard Courtney Williams has agreed to a deal with the Chicago Sky, her agent, Marcus Crenshaw, told Girls Talk Sports TV’s Khristina Williams. Here’s what you should know:
- After news of Williams’ deal broke, she tweeted at Chicago’s Kahleah Copper, “what’s up! Let’s get to it!”
- Williams averaged 11.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game last season.
- The 28-year-old ranked in the top five in scoring, assists and rebounds on a Connecticut Sun team that lost the 2022 WNBA Finals.
- Williams has played for the Sun, Atlanta Dream and Phoenix Mercury.

Backstory
Last season marked Williams’ second stint with Connecticut after spending two seasons with the Dream. The Mercury selected her with the No. 8 pick in the 2016 WNBA Draft.
Williams played six games with Phoenix during her rookie season before being traded to the Sun. In 2021, Williams earned her sole All-Star selection while averaging 16.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
