Backstory

Haley and Hanna Cavinder started their collegiate careers playing three seasons for Fresno State before transferring to Miami for the 2022-23 season. The twins helped lead the Hurricanes to a surprising Elite Eight run, upsetting No. 1 seed Indiana in the second round and only falling to eventual national champion LSU.

Last season, Haley averaged 12.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. She won the Mountain West Rookie of the Year Award in 2019-20 and averaged 16 points per game that season.
