Sophomore forward Aneesah Morrow is transferring to LSU, she announced Friday. Here’s what you need to know:
- Morrow was one of the most highly sought players in the transfer portal after averaging 25.7 points and 12.2 rebounds per game this past season at DePaul.
- After being contacted by more than 30 programs, Morrow narrowed her list to LSU, USC and South Carolina.
- The Tigers already picked up Hailey Van Lith (from Louisville) through the transfer portal this season, but adding Morrow gives LSU the top two players out of the portal this offseason as well as the No. 1 2023 recruiting class, headlined by guard Mikaylah Williams, the No. 2 guard, according to ESPN.com.
