High of the Weekend
The USWNT is gearing up for the Gold Cup, and they welcomed some guests to their training! Seeing Christen Press and Tobin Heath reunited with the team was amazing.
Low of the Weekend
Gotham scrimmaged Florida State this past week and lost 3-2. But that’s not the low part. Gotham presumably asked FSU’s social media to take down the final score from their account. FSU, the NCAA Champion, is an elite team, and Gotham doesn’t need to try to hide the results of the match.
News of the Weekend
Mckenna Whitham, a 13-year-old soccer star, is making waves as the youngest soccer player–and youngest in any sport–to sign an NIL deal with Nike. Whitham has experience playing for the U15 USYNT. On the club level, she plays with Slammers FC and trains with some of the most elite coaches in the game.
