High of the Week
This week the NWSL announced that Prime Video has sent the green light for a four-part NWSL docuseries. The show will be called For The Win: NWSL and will be an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at the 2024 NWSL playoffs and Championship. It will feature players like Alex Morgan, Trinity Rodman, Marta, Croix Bethune, and more. The show was produced by Words + Pictures as well as Eli Manning and Alex Morgan. There is no premiere date set but hopefully, it’ll be soon.
It’s exciting news that the NWSL is continuing to build on its partnership with Prime Video. Prime began streaming select NWSL games during the 2024 season, and they’ll continue that trend during the 2025 season with 27 matches on the platform. They will also be the home of the 2025 Challenge Cup matchup between the Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit, which will kick off the NWSL season on March 7.
