High of the Week
North Carolina won their 23rd National Championship with a 1-0 win over Wake Forest. It was their first National Championship since 2012. UNC had a terrific season with a 22-5 record under head coach Damon Nahas. Nahas spent the 2024 season with the interim tag before being named the head coach right before the National Championship game. Olivia Thomas scored the lone goal off a free kick to earn the Tar Heels the trophy.

Low of the Week
Angel City announced that they had parted ways with head coach Becki Tweed. Tweed spent half of the 2023 season as the interim head coach before being named the permanent head coach at the end of the 2023 season. Angel City had a disappointing 2024 season with a 7-13-6 record. The club announced that Eleri Earnshaw will serve as the interim head coach.
