The Olympics begin this month, and the hype is REAL. The USWNT released its 18-player roster that will be headed to Paris, with a lot of young faces. High of the Weekend
Temwa Chawinga continues to quest for the Golden Boot, but too bad it doesn’t count river goals! She was the first Current played to smack a shot outside the stadium and into the river. In the team’s match against the Dash, she did manage to score two goals in three minutes, winning the game for the Current. And she had the best quote about her performance, “Maybe I’m making a name for myself, but I’m not making my name by myself. It’s my teammates who help me to make my name”
